Mini Vinnies are the youngest members of the St. Vincent de Paul Society who form groups within schools and parishes, meeting to find ways of helping and supporting people in need through action and prayer. The SVP and Mini Vinnies motto is, 'turning concern into action' and so in our Mini Vinnies meetings we reflect on different groups of people, in our community and worldwide, who we are concerned about and discuss how we can put our faith into action to help them.
We are very grateful to the St Vincent de Paul Society, St Peter's Catholic Church, who donated our Mini Vinnies caps. We love them! We have plans to develop a strong working relationship with them so that together we can make a real difference in our community and the wider world.
Our Mini Vinnies club runs on a Tuesday lunchtime in the Spiritual Space for children in Y3 – Y6 from 12.50 – 1.20pm. New members are always welcome, so if you would like to join our friendly group please ask Mrs Desando for a joining form.
