The governors of St Peter’s Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint two teachers who will have an understanding of and empathy with the Catholic ethos of our school.  We are looking for teachers with flair, creativity, expertise and a passion for teaching and learning.  A strong teaching profile in English and Maths is essential as is the ability to instil a love for learning within each pupil.  St Peter’s is a two form entry multi-cultural primary school in Gloucester city.  It is a good school (Ofsted 2018) with high aspirations for every child to be a successful learner. 

The successful candidate must have knowledge and experience of working in one of EYFS, KS1 or KS2.  In your application, please either state your preference (EYFS/KS1/KS2), or give an order of preference.

Please note that you do not need to be catholic to apply for either of these posts, but we ask that you are fully committed to supporting the catholic ethos of our school and will play a full part in promoting the catholic mission of the school.

Clerk to St Peter's Catholic Primary School Governing Body

We are seeking to appoint an experienced administrator to fulfil the post of Clerk to St Peter’s Catholic Primary School Governing Body.  Part time permanent role, 156 hours per annum, Grade 6 pts 15 - 20 £25,878 -£28,371 per annum, pro-rata.
 
We are looking for a person 
  • Who is highly organized and a self-motivated Clerk to the Governors.
  • Who is willing to support the Catholic ethos of the school.
  • Who can provide effective administrative support to the Governing Body and its central committees. 
  • Who can provide advice to the Board on governance, constitutional & procedural matters.
  • Who manages information confidentially in line with legal requirements.
  • Who is willing to attend training to ensure information and procedures are up to date.

OPAL - Play Team 

OPAL PLAY TEAM post (formerly Midday Supervisor)
Grade 2 (pts 2-3) £20,441 - £20,812 per annum per annum pro rata
approximately £10.60 - £10.79 per hour
 
We are seeking to appoint a Play Team to join our hard working and dedicated staff. The post is part-time permanent, subject to a 6 months’ probationary period. The days and hours of work are Monday – Friday inclusive, term time only, 12.30pm – 1.30pm.
