Welcome to Year 6

The Year 6 Staff

Welcome back to you all.  We are excited to share our classrooms with you in your final year of Primary School. This will be a busy and exciting term with plenty of learning but hopefully plenty of fun too!

In 6MC the teachers are Mrs Morris (Monday) and Mrs Carr (Tuesday - Friday). In 6YW Mrs Young (Monday and Tuesday) and Mrs Williams (Wednesday – Friday). Our teaching assistants working with both classes are Mrs Davidson and Mrs Moth.

This term, we will be learning about World War Two and exploring key themes such as evacuation, the Blitz and the Battle of Britain.  We know we have some super historians in this year group and can't wait to see what you produce.

Homework will be handed out on a Friday and collected in the following Friday.  This gives the children a full week to complete around any other clubs and activities.

PE will take place on Wednesdays and Fridays.  Please come to school dressed in the correct PE uniform with the school tie.

Both classes have voted to read 'Letters From The Lighthouse' by Emma Carroll this term.
