Introduction

Some children find it much harder to learn than other children or they may have a disability which prevents them from accessing the curriculum in the normal way.  They may need support which is additional to or different from other children in their class.  These children may be said to have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

• www.wordsforlife.org.uk  the National Literacy Trust have an amazing website to support your child with reading.  It is great for parents and children alike, and has books, activity sheets and fun games as well as milestones and tips to support your child with reading.

• www.storylineonline.net an American site but has wonderful storytellers.
